The Research unit of the Universidad de Oriente (UNIVO), is responsible for ensuring the planning, organization and execution of innovative academic research, which offer rigorous scientific and technological approaches to meet the most urgent needs of Salvadoran society as a whole. We have a multidisciplinary team of researchers with technical and methodological capabilities that guarantee the bonding of the university community with Teaching, Research and community service. Also with local actors, interagency and academic centers, which are friends with the university, to parlay with relevance, commitment, and responsibility to local and regional intervention processes for the sustainable development of the Eastern Zone of El Salvador.
The research list of the Directorate integrates each of the six Academic Faculties of UNIVO, with the aim of enriching scientific production from each of the areas of knowledge established by the Ministry of Education.
